Urban centers are challenged to preserve and strengthen their natural capital by revitalizing biodiversity and thereby contributing to climate change mitigation and adaptation. From a systemic approach, which promotes synergy between urban sustainability and the management of ecosystem services, RIL supports local governments in the design of nature-based solutions and environmental care to become cities of Biodiversity.
