The +Women Transforming Cities program begins its third year with a new focus: moving from diagnosis to action.
At this stage, the work will be centered on network impact, supporting cities in the implementation of gender-responsive projects. These initiatives are based on data collected during the previous phase and aim to translate into concrete changes in local governance.
In addition, the program is starting to consolidate a network of local women leaders, with the goal of making their work visible and strengthening exchange between cities.
The launch will feature Lisa Solmirano, Coordinator of the Area for the Elimination of Violence against Women at UN Women Argentina, who will share insights on how global gender equality agendas are built and sustained, and the key role cities play in this process.
With this new cycle, +Women moves into a deeper stage: not only generating knowledge, but driving concrete transformations in territories.
